Would anyone get in trouble if we get pulled over and I have a flask in my pocket?

More details to this question:
I'm 21 and I have a flask. If i have it in my pocket and we get pulled over, would anyone get in trouble? The flask would contain alcohol.

Yes you could since the flask is not sealed. It is considered an open container. You have to carry it in the trunk.

That could be considered having an open container of alcohol in a car which could lead to an open intox charge. This can be avoided by not bringing it or by keeping it in the trunk.

Probably best to put it in the trunk. While a closed flask isn't "open" it is not sealed and would probably violate the open container in a vehicle law. Best to err on the side of caution here.
