QUESTION

How do I go about suing an online college

Asked on Oct 21st, 2015 on Education Law - Florida
More details to this question:
I attended ICDC college. I was totally mislead told the college was fully accredited and I would be able to transfer my associates degree to another college and obtain a bachelors degree. They also promised job placement. They charged me $40,000 for an associates degree in forensics. When I graduated and tried to transfer my so called degree it in fact was not an Associates but more like a certificate the credits were not transferable because Icdc failed to mention they were not nationally accredited. I feel totally mislead. Then on top of everything the job placement they promised was all a bunch of crap, they tried to offer me jobs as a crossing guard or a security guard. Jobs I didnt need to even go to college for. The worst part is the jobs they were offering where off of criagslist, jobs i could of searched for myself. That school is a rip off.

You very well may have grounds to file a lawsuit. The process, however, can be difficult if you have never done it before. Where you live, how much money you are seeking, and other factors affect where and what you file. If you are still seeking an attorney, I specialize in education law and have experience litigating matters. I offer free telephone conferences.
