The son said I was giving her pills that were in her hand but I didn’t give any bills if she had some in hand I didn’t notice. So now accusing and threatening me that he is putting police report. So they can arrest me. And he told call care.com and reported it. So they cancel my accounted without knowing if true statement and my other clients got letter for alert I was so discussed. What are my options. I can be arrested with son placing a police report. And do I need attorney ASAP or just wait for police report..
False reports to the police and APS are all too common. They do not necessarily lead to an arrest. If you need a lawyer, you might look for an elder lawyer experienced in these matters using the Find a Lawyer function on the website of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (www.naela.com)
