More details to this question:
I am helping a friend with getting care for her husband, he needs 24/7 care and she is unable to provide what needs to be done. She has some help that comes a few times a week but left alone the rest of the time. His condition is getting worse and the doctors are dragging their feet in placing him where he needs to be. She tells me he is scared and does not want to go, he is also showing signs of dementia and not making sense. She is also worried about losing the house and all their assets So would seeking a elder law lawyer be in her best interest or would she have to start somewhere else? His doctors are not giving her much support.
