Financial Power of Attorney

More details to this question:
My dad has terminal cancer and my only sibling is the financial power of attorney. Is there anything that I can do to make sure his assets are protected until his passing by requiring my sister to notify me before any expenditures and / or have my approval for any expenditures? Thank you.

Your sister does not need to notify your or request your approval.  If your father had wanted this, he would have named you co-agent and required that the co-agents act together.
