How can I protect myself from malicious property manager

More details to this question:
Property manager kept losing rent checks mailed from bank when I first moved in 1.5 years ago. This is a disabled and senior complex - Yearly inspection of my freshly cleaned apartment is 'supposedly' not clean enough. I am 74 and disabled - Feel manager is discriminating against me with prejudice.
