More details to this question:
Gerald and I have been together for 27 years. He has been bedridden for 15 of those years and I cared for him at home. I lost my eldest son Nov. first. On that Wed. had to call home health nurse because Gerald had pulled his catheter out. She told me to call the ambulance. Ihad to go view my sons body before he was cremated so I couldnt go with him!Friday was the funeral and my daughter told me DSS had called her. I called and got voice mail. I told her I would call her when I got back. I called and she was gone for the day. Mon. the DSS lady went to Court and got him removed from the home. My power of Attorney was recined to DSS. Now they got him in a nursing home, and took all his income. How can they just remove a 100% disabled Veteran from his wife and family?
