My father is on the DC Medicaid EPD waiver and gets 11 hours a day of PCA services. He contracted COVID-19 in January and his cognitive and mobility has severely declined where he needs 24/7 care. Due to the nature of my job eventually I will have to go back overseas. As his needs have changed and he needs long-term care placement his doctor's have advised doing one move versus several. My brother and his family reside in Allen, Texas in the longterm we would want my dad in a facility that takes medicaid in that area. I am looking for a medicaid planner that can help with the paperwork and ensure that there is no lapse in coverage with mediaid during the transition if possible.
