Hi I am a only child and will be inheriting my mom's home but nothing else meaning not money or contents of the home I did want a few items out of home that was there since I was a child but lawyer says no he also will not let anyone see the bank account records and says home is exempt but from what I read the house goes to pay for debt if there is any so I feel I have the right to see bank records he told my aunt and uncle they still had power of attorney also just not the bank account anymore is this right

You do not have a right to see the bank account records whether your mother is alive or dead.
