My wife and I want to start a savings account with our daughter and son in law names on the account. How do we document their deposits so their amount is not included in the spend down, if we need to go to a nursing center using medicaid as payment.

talk to a local elder law lawyer. I would just document all the money so you can separate them if needed for Medicaid.
