Need help with medicaid issues & estate planning for my 92 yr old mother that recently relocated to NC from Pa. Suggestions..??

Trying to understand What medicaid does & does not allow to retain once assisted living / nursing home is required. Current will / Med POA / POA are all docs from PA.....and are they now still valid in NC.....??
