Can a record deal be sent through email?

I recently got a recording contract offer that was sent through my email and I’m not sure if I should trust it

It's probably a scam. If it asks you to mail in some money like 100 or so dollars to get the written documents sent to you, then it's usually a scam. That being said you should always have an attorney review it in your jurisdiction just to be certain.
