I spent over 2 years working on artwork for a book and signed a contract that said I would be paid when the book was published and sold. I recently found out that the book is now going to be released for free due to one of the writers not finishing their part of the work. I want to know what I can do, it feels like they are not upholding their part of the deal.
I well written publishing contract should have your remedies within it. Please refer to the contract, if it is silent to this, you may want to hire counsel to contact the publishing company.
