It is not possible to answer this question in a public forum. You need to consult with an attorney in person, so that you can come up with a strategy to obtain the records you need to prove your case.

Too complicated an issue to deal with in this forum. I would suggest that you contact an attorney to review this with. Presumably your husband would have kept records? Why would the ex have paid your husband's attorney? Was this ordered by the court?

I strongly suggest you sit down for a free consultation with a new attorney and bring documentation for review. It is not clear what the fees are for and your current attorney may not be accurate if he or she is saying you cannot get the information from your uncle's checking account. Doesn't hurt to get a second opinion.
