QUESTION

after reaching 18

Asked on Jan 28th, 2016 on Child Custody - California
More details to this question:
As a recently turned eighteen year old child of divorce (that will not graduate until later this year), am I required to follow the visitation schedule? Do I need any parent permission aside from whatever rules are set in place due to residence? If I decide to stay somewhere else while with the non custodial parent will there be repercussions to the parent and is there a way to prevent this?

You are 18 = you are an adult.  Custody orders have lapsed.  They are no longer applicable to you.  One of your parents may still be required to pay child support until yu graduate, but that is not your concern.
