QUESTION

Am I the plaintiff or defendant?

Asked on Jul 16th, 2014 on Family Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Currently filling out a Motion for Modification form to amend a parental visitation schedule. In the original divorce case (Which occurred 4 years ago), I was considered the defendant; however, on these forms, I am required to check whether I am the plaintiff or defendant. I am unsure what to check off! Thanks for any help in advance!

You will always be the defendant even if you are the one asking for something after the divorce is finalized.  You stay what ever you were inthe original divorce.
