More details to this question:
My mother needs to settle my grandmothers estate with my uncle. She is executor of my grandmothers estate. My uncle has lived in the house since my grandmother died in 2008, and since he has destroyed the house and removed all of my grandmothers possessions, which were supposed to be divided between my mother and uncle 50/50. My mother went out to my grandmothers house after 2 years and discovered everything described above, there was an argument and my uncle attacked my mother, blacking her eye, bruising her ribs and causing lacerations on her forearm. he then proceeded to pull a pistol and stick it into the back of her head while dragging her across the floor trying to throw her out. The police were called and came out, arresting both my mother and uncle because he locked the gun in his building and refused to allow the police to search it, and told them that the gun and all my grandmothers ashes and possessions were stolen in a break-in back in OCT. 2012 that wasn't reported.
Yes there are attorneys that handle civil and criminal cases. I am one of them but am in PA. You need an estate attorney. As far as the criminal case goes, it is really the police and the DA who should file criminal charges, not a private attorney. However, an attorney can file a private complaint. You really should seek a local attorney before somebody gets hurt.
