I am involved in a custody case but my attorney will not let me agree to what I want to agree to. She says she will but then goes back on her word when she communicates with the opposing attorney. Also, she is making up lies I didn't say to her. Example she told the opposing atty I said someone threatened me into agreeing but I never said that. What can I do?
If you are not comfortable with your current attorney, your attorney is not following the direction you are giving them or the two of you simply do not agree on the strategy they are recommending you are always free to end their representation and seek new counsel.
