Can a 16 leave home without consent?

More details to this question:
The father has full custody over the 16 year old and will not let her leave home or give permission and denies ever giving it. The mom says that she can leave. So can the 16 year old leave without any consequences as long as she says where she is going?

No she cannot just leave.

No. Sixteen is not an adult. If she disobeys a parent she should receive reasonable consequences....the parent with full custody is the parent to listen to.

A 16 year old is a child, subject to the parent's rules. If the 16 year old can be self supporting, she can file to be emancipated.

A sixteen year old in Ohio is not an emancipated adult. She has to obey her custodian (father), or go to court to get the situation changed.
