Can a child in the state of Pennsylvania choose which parent they want to live with?

More details to this question:
My ex husband and I have joint custody of our 2 daughters. The youngest is soon to be 13 and wants to live with only me. What do I do? Do I have to go to the court and modify our custody order? My daughter has had numerous incidents at her dad's house including her running away from his house.
Ask the court for a modification. At their ages, your daughters will be able to talk to the judge about their preferences. They won't be able to "choose" per se, but they will be able to give input to the court.
