Can an AG win a child support case when there is no separation?

More details to this question:
An AG is requesting the court for child support judgment where is not separation and the parents are happily married. The husband left to work out of state and still provides for the family.

Apparently the other parent differs with your definition of separation.  However, if you can prove support of the children, then you need to immediately provide that information to the AG
