Can child support keep adding interest on my payment

More details to this question:
My son turn 19 december 2013 he finish school may 2014 I owed $400 dollars my job close down august 2013 I got back but now $400 dollars is goo soon as I get back to work I can pay that off. Now they sending me another letter saying I owe $600  who am I paying for my child or other people kids.so if I don't hurry back to work that mean I gotta start all over again

Yes, interest will continue to accrue on back child support until it is paid.
