QUESTION

Can I change my shared parenting orders

Asked on Jan 22nd, 2014 on Child Custody - Ohio
More details to this question:
Hi, I would like to change my shared parenting with my ex husband for our child in Ohio. We were supposed to have her every other month but instead we have been doing year to year since we both have been out of state. Well now he moved back and he currently has her for the school year and says I may not have her back for my year because he doesn't want her to keep switching schools. I agree. What I don't agree with is him letting his father around her because he is a tier II sex offender and molested his stepdaughter at the age of 8. My daughter is 7. My ex husband has also been violent with me in the past. He pleaded guilty to domestic violence and I think the courts should consider this. I have never had the money for a lawyer to take him to court but I do now. We have had these orders since 2010. Also, I have had our daughter for 5 years out of her life, whereas he has had her for 2. Please help.

Where are the original shared parenting orders from?  Ohio or some other state?
