QUESTION

Can I drop charges for DV?

Asked on Mar 05th, 2023 on Domestic Violence - California
More details to this question:
Me and my boyfriend got into an argument and I was a little drunk. And we were throwing stuff back and fourth and he threw something at me that hit my face and I started bleeding since I was drunk, I thought he did it intentionally and called the police. They arrested him for DV. Is there any way I can talk to the judge that I don’t want to press charges on his court date.?
