Can I file for DNA testing to prove paternity?

More details to this question:
I was married when my daughter was born. I signed an AOP with a different man. It was a mistake, my husband then was not notified but he is the actual father. But he denied her in our divorce. I was indigent unable to hire an attorney or even be present. I was also scared of him. He beats me during our marriage, any way is there a way to make him take a DNA test proving he is the father?

Petition for child support from him and he'll want to take the test.
