More details to this question:
My sister "Jane" lost custody of both her children over 5 years ago and my husband and I are the Managing conservator of the girl and my other sister "Jill" and her now ex-husband is the managing conservator of the boy. "Jill" wants to give me managing conservatorship of the boy now. This will be agreed as "Jill" & her ex-husband "Joe" wishes to sign a waiver. Can a simple Suit Affecting the Parent Child Relationship paperwork be completed? Does a co-parent have to be identified?

Both parents if known must be made parties to a suit for a Parent-Child Relationship along with all caretakers.
