Can I get an attorney after I get back pay if it's not all taken away before time since child support has been taking awaymoney owed

I'm hoping to get an attorney that can help me dropped off the arrears since my wife did not show up for court and I got stuck paying child support for my kids which I never seen in visitation rights since they were 3,4,6 years old till they were 23,24,26 years old on drugs and gangs plus my ex tried pinning me for another two boys she had with another man by trying to court order sue and had been with her all those years besides many other things I had the short end of the stick all these years my daughter even got shot in the face and wasn't told till 6 years later this is so terrible but I'm trying to see if I can beat child support before my back pay is taken away as this how I will be able to afford a lawyer who can help me take off the arears part and pay my regular support as my ex won't answer and for a deal and never shows up for legal situations
