If you have a child born out of wedlock, you will first need to have paterntiy established in order to have rights to the child, including custody and placement. Your post and question doesn't indicate whether that has occurrred yet. Under Wisconsin law, until you are adjudicated as being the biological father of the child, you have no legal rights to the child in any way.
