Can I leave the state with my daughter without the father's consent?

More details to this question:
My daughter is 1 year old and her father and I were never married. He did sign paternity papers in the hospital, but we do not have a custody agreement nor have we started one. I would like to move from CA to FL to be with my immediate family. I cannot afford to live here on my own and my daughters father does not work. My question is what are my rights?
