Can i legally pay my support obligation to my children not their mother?

More details to this question:
I pay child support to my ex wife, however i also pay for their cloths,school car expenses etc. Their mother (according to my Teen children) never really has food in the house so they get fast food on their own, she refuses to to take them to school or work so they need to find their own way around. she refuses to help them with their car loans or even insure them the have to get their own car insurance. I pay 14000 a year in support for the three boys then another 14000 a year in extras like dr copay's etc. i want to put the money in account for them to draw on at their will can i legally do this???

On the direct support payments -- and technically you are not even permitted to seek an accounting of what she's doing with the child support payments. If you believe that she is not providing adequately for your chldren, i.e., not paying for food, shelter, clothing, etc., then you may be able to bring an application in court, but it is risky.
As for the payments to third parties, you should make arrangements to pay those items yourself if the money is not being paid to the proper vendors. I would not give the kids the money -- that won't be acceptable -- but if you pay their car insurance, buy their clothing, etc. yourself, then at least you know where that money is going to.
