QUESTION

Can I self represent in a custody hearing?

Asked on Nov 08th, 2014 on Child Custody - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I asked my attorney to withdraw. The judge wrote a rule to show cause even though the withdrawal stated I asked him to do so. So I filed to represent prosecutor without prejudice, citing the attorney was dismissed by me. Is a rule to make absolute needed?

In my county the attorney needs only to file a withdrawal of appearance, at the most. I have no idea what "represent prosecutor without prejudice" and "rule to make absolute" are. I have never heard of these terms.
