Can I still pay child support?

More details to this question:
I'm a 18 year old female I live in Florida my son lives with his father in Philadelphia he recently told me he went to apply for food stamps and basically they gave him.a child support court date I had a job but I was fired and I'm pregnant I was wondering what would happen at that court date I know I have to support my son but I don't have a job but I'm trying to find another one I hope I make sense

If this is a non-Florida case, you need an attorney ther or you need to show up for your court date - or call - do not ignore it.   If it is a Florida court date, show up - they do not know your status and will not know it unless you show up to tell them.
