can my child support payments modify

More details to this question:
I never been late paying child support for the last 13 yrs. Until I lost my job, child support office ordered my license suspended for owing $100 I thought when I paid that one in December it would clear my suspension but it never did. Now the office said I owe $300 when they took $2100 from my tax refund. I lost job nov.2013 but was receiving unemployment and payments was taking out one of the kids don't live with the mom, I owe child support because my son auntie applied welfare can that be possible. Can someone help me advice on what to do .

Your facts are pretty confusing.  If someone with custody of one of your children applied for welfare, yes it is very possible that the state will look to you for reimbursement.  You could, of course, file a motion to modify the support obligation -- even using forms through the family law self-help center.  See http://www.familylawselfhelpcenter.org/.  If you are not sure what to do, you should chat with a family law specialist.  If you have no other access to legal assistance, consider going to one of the Thursday afternoon (free) sessions of Ask-A-Lawyer at family court.
