Can my dad take back my laptop that he bought for me as a Christmas gift when I was 17? I am 20 years old now and have had the laptop for 3 years.

My dad wants to take back my laptop that he bought for me 3 years ago. When he bought it for me for Christmas, I was 17 years old. I am currently 20 years old now and he wants it back. Is it legally his or mine? Can he take it back? It was a gift. Also, could you please back up your claims with court cases (precedent)? I would like to know what court cases I can look at about this issue. Thank you.
