My family are leaving for a family vacation in 3 days. The other parent had agreed to let me take him when I first talked to them about the vacation. I had asked the other parent if they would like the weekend we come, to make up for his time. He said that would be fine. Now he is saying I can't take my child on vacation with me that I have to leave him here. I have sole physical custody, but we share joint legal. Would I still be able to go on vacation at this point, it's already paid for and no refundable?
If you have an agreement in writing or email allowing this you should be able to take your child but I would confer with an attorney with all of the details.
