Can the tribe keep us away from our grandchildren

My son met a girl when she was a few months pregnant we have raised her son as ours since the day he was born and we also have a biological granddaughter by her who now she says we faked the dna on and is threatening to get the tribe involved so we can see them

Short answer is yes. If a child is a member of a Tribe, or eligible for membership, it throws a huge wrinkle into custody or visitation cases involving that child.
