Each State has its' own laws considering residency. The State of Florida, where I am licensed, has a six month waiting period prior to becoming a resident of Florida. I would suggest you contact an attorney in your area so that they may advise you of the residency requirement in Georgia and the anticipated cost of representing you should you decide to utilize an attorney in this matter.
