My best friend was a victim of a crime that left him an Quadriplegic. The state is trying to take his Parental rights away from him by Force in order for a Total stranger can adopt his son. I told my friend that I would take in his son Either via Adoption or foster care But dyfs is give him the run around pushing thing back and back knowing that the court case to take his rights away are this Monday. We need help before the state takes his son away for ever. If u can help ASAP contact me.

Have the children been taken out of the home. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency must generally make reasonable efforts to provide services to help the parents before terminating parental rights. I am not sure if this has already happened, but an attorney from the office of parental representation (a division of the public defender) should have been appointed, if a private attorney has not already been retained.
