QUESTION

child custody

Asked on Dec 12th, 2013 on Child Custody - New York
More details to this question:
I gave my ex husband custodial custody if our son about 3 years ago because he kept the house in the divorce and we wanted my son to remain in the same school district. I would like to know if that could be reversed because now he is moving anyway. I also supply medical coverage and get no child support. He probably makes about 3 times my salary.a few months ago my medical plan changed and I asked him for some help and nowhe pays 450 per month which only helps alittle .. is it at all possible to reverse custody and get child support for my son ?

If your ex is planning to move with your son, you can file a petition in the Family Court seeking to block the move. Good luck.
