child immunization laws in Texas

Asked on Jan 18th, 2013 on Family Law - Texas
More details to this question:
I have two children currently behind on immunizations. I donor believe in them and they have been perfectly healthy. I have heard its a law that they must have them done. I have become very concerned with the idea that child protective services could possibly get involved and take my kids away because they are behind. I do not know where to go from here in this situation. In my city people are very judgemental and may not understand my reasoning for not getting their shots. How should I go about making this right. Please help! concerned parent,
