Hi I'm on public assistance in ny Nassau county and I don't know much info on ny child's father he took off shortly after me giving birth it was just a few week fling witch later I found out he gave me a fake first name and birthday welfare is telling me my case can get sanctioned and I can loose everything if I can't come up with more information on him how true is this? What will happen if they don't find him?.

Who has the child? Please contact an attorney right away, most likely what they said is true but an attorney would be able to tell you after getting more information on the case.
