More details to this question:
I have got 100% custody of my kid, as my soon to be ex was absconding for long time. I have filed a child support. For more than 7 years, he has not even seen the child. Now he is threatening me to seek 50% custody. My child doesnt even know him. And I want to make sure my custody order remain at 100%. What should I do? Should I petition against him?

There is no way to guarantee 100% of time and circumstances changes. If you petition for child support, then most likely he will ask for visitation and that is what his attorney will ask the court to grant, and most likely it will be granted unless you have a really aggressive attorney and a solid REASONS as to why he shouldn't be involved. Above answer and comments to questions are for general purposes only and does not constitute legal advice or establishes an attorney-client relationship without a signed retainer. Please reach out to an attorney you are comfortable with working and discussing your case in more details. If you can not afford a private attorney, you may be eligible for a Pro Bono lawyer provided by some courts and if not, feel free to ask about our affordable payment plans.
