If no one filed financial documents, the Court may simply dismiss the case.  However, lets say that the Mother, with the assistance of the department of revenue, files to establish child support and the Mother files her own financial affidavit.  If the Father fails to file a financial affidavit and otherwise refuses to participate in the establishment of support, the Court can impute an income of $42,000 to that party. This number represents an average household income in Florida.
