More details to this question:
OK SO MY DAUGHTER JUST TURNED 18 AND DIDN'T FINISH HIGH SCHOOL AND HAS NO INTENTION OF FINISHING HIGH SCHOOL. HER MOM AND I DIDN'T HAVE A SUPPORT ORDER I JUST GAVE HER MONEY EVERY WEEK BUT NOW THAT I STOPPED PAYING HER SHE WANTS TO GO TO COURT AND GET A CHILD SUPPORT ORDER. CAN SHE GET A CHILD SUPPORT ORDER NOW THAT MY DAUGHTER IS 18 AND THERE WASN'T A CHILD SUPPORT ORDER BEFORE SHE WAS 18? I LIVE IN WISCONSIN
Under Wisconsin law, a parent is not obligated to pay child support beyond the minor child turning 18, unless that child is pursuing their high school degree at which point, child support ends no later than the child's 19th birthday.
