QUESTION

Child Support Lien

Asked on Dec 05th, 2012 on Child Support - California
More details to this question:
I was divorced recently. Just before the divorce, my Husband signed a Quit Claim on the property through my Lawyer. Now I am selling the house and it is in Escrow. A large lien was found on the property dated a year before the Quit Claim and Divorce, for Child Support from my Ex's previous marriage! So unbeknownst to me he left me with this lien the Bastard! Am I liable for this lien. The child is not mine of course!
