child support question

More details to this question:
i move back in with kids and mom about 2 years ago i was paying child support before that and even when i moved back in i continue to pay for about a year.now we been on welfarre for about a year and a half but they still chargin me for child support.call the court house they told us to get a court date and see a judje but i believe they gone ask me for money even tho we want to stop the child support. what should i do??

If you are court ordered to pay child support then the only way to stop the child support is to back to court and make that request.  The court has to order that the child support stop.  You will need to file a motion at the court house.  You go in person to the court house.  They will give you papers to fill out and then you will get a court date.
