QUESTION

Child Visitation

Asked on Nov 01st, 2013 on Family Law - Alabama
More details to this question:
I have full custody of son. He is expressing and saying he does not want to see his father, but I make him go anyways. I have suggested visitation be at my house every weekend and the father agreed, but my child still asks his father to leave, even after a welcoming of showing love toward his father. How can I respect my child and his father's right to see his son.

You should follow the court order. if you want to decrease visits, petition the court if the father will not agree. you may also ask the court to appoint a psychologist to conduct an evaluation. Most people say you should try to encourage your son to visit the father, as much as you possibly can.
