Even thou my insurance company does not have a problem with a informal marriage license my company does. My company will not accept a informal marriage license. Is there anything I can do? I live in Texas. The informal marriage is filed with the County Clerks office and the company has been sent a copy explaining that we are married the same as a person married by a preacher or pastor.

I would get a copy of the informal marriage statute and send it to the company advising them that according to Texas law you are married and that they are violating Texas statutes by refusing to recognize the marriage.
