Contemt

More details to this question:
Our divorce decree states we both shall equally share in our taxes that we owe to the tune of about 40,000 i paid all the taxes in full and now want my ex wife to pay me her share of that liabilty. She refuses ti do so waht are my options and will a judge find in my favor if the decree states as mentioned above.

Based on what you have stated it is likely that a court would order her to reimburse you for the tax liability. You will need to file a Complaint for Contempt and supplement the Complaint with a memorandum showing proof of the liability and your payment.    If you need additional information, do not hesitate to contact my office.
