I am a single parent and i don't receive any child support . My child is two ,and its taking longer because my ex boyfriend signed his birth certificate but I have to have his name removed . My son is two now ,and his biological father hasn't done much financially .

At the initial filing of a child support case, you can request and receive up to 24 months of retroactive (past-due) child support.
